Raid has over 17 years of experience in the petrochemicals industries across several domains including engineering, operation, management, project, as well as licensing and sales contracts negotiations. He started his career in the petrochemicals industry where he progressed from a manufacturing engineer to operation superintendent to operation and technical advisor. He later Joined SABIC team to bring the Rubber technologies to Saudi Arabia. In addition to his work in Saudi Arabia, Raid worked on international assignments in the US and Europe.

He holds a Master degree in System Dynamics, one of the specialized methodologies for solving complex and wicked problems through advanced simulations. Raid research has been around public policies on unemployment, guest workers programs, labor market and illegal population. Raid has a B.S in chemical engineering (KFUPM 1996) and Master degree in System Dynamics and labor force dynamics  (WPI 2017).

Hasan Jameel Zaini

He has 13 years of valuable experience working at multinational FMCG SAVOLA, Procter & Gamble and Waad Holding. Hasan worked in various roles covering sales and marketing manager, media manager and lately as the COO and CEO in family business. Hasan is in pursuit to overcome challenges confronting clients in Saudi Arabia and contribute to its long-term objectives utilizing his best expertise from Harvard executive education and best in class multinationals.

Dr. Raafat Mahmoud Zaini

Consultant

Dr. Raafat has more than 20 years in the design and manufacturing industry where he held several technical and managerial positions. His interest is in the area of organizational dynamics and innovation sustainability with a focus on a multi-perspective design approach and the dynamic modeling of R&D organizations.

Raafat worked as a researcher at the MIT Sociotechnical Systems Research Center and as a consultant for the Advanced Management Group. He also served as a co-chair of the system dynamics society business special interest group 2013-2015. He is a member of the policy council of the system dynamics society. Raafat holds a B.S in mechanical engineering (KFUPM 1990), Master degree in aeronautical and industrial engineering (Purdue 1999) and Ph.D. in System Dynamics and organization studies (WPI 2017).

Professor Khalid Saeed

Steering Committee Chair, Systems Innovation Practice

Khalid Saeed has worked on consulting and training projects with, among other organizations, Veteran’s Administration, Health Resources and Services Administration, United Nations, Asian Development Bank, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Booz Alan Hamilton, and McKinsey & Company.

He is Professor of Economics and System Dynamics at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he also directs the system dynamics program. A recipient of Jay Wright Forrester Award and a dual PhD from MIT, he has served as President of System Dynamics Society and Associate Editor of System Dynamics Review.

Dr. Saeed’s recent work includes project on education, healthcare, supply chain management, public policy, energy, and the environment.
